Daily Dodo Jam

Daily Dodo Jam was a collaborative project between Yoko Kristiansen and Will Cunningham. Beginning July 1 2016, we took turns creating an album cover a day for 40 days. Guidelines for this project were lifted from Mike Duez’s 365 Album Cover project.

To design each cover, we gathered the following materials that were randomly generated:

  1. Band name: A Wikipedia page title
  2. Album title: The last 1–5 words of a quote
  3. Album art: An image on Flickr creative commons

We gave ourselves up to an hour to create our cover.

Our goal was simple: do good work, learn from each other, and have fun. For the full set of album covers, see @dailydodojam
